Saf Elmansour is VP of Marketing & Strategy for Evoca, having worked on three continents with industry-leading telecom firms and Fortune 500 companies, including Orange Telecom, General Motors, American Tower, and Qatar Telecom. He was responsible for introducing over 25 new products and services as well as designing and launching Kuwait’s first telecom customer loyalty program. Saf also led consumer marketing for General Motor’s Kuwait operations. Saf has managed relationships between his companies and major creative agencies (BBDO and Leo Burnett), media agencies (Impact Proximity, Zenith Optimedia, Starcom), and PR agencies (Hill & Knowlton). In 2000, Saf co-founded and launched Ketabook, the first online Maghreb (North-Western Africa) bookstore serving libraries and research institutions with clients including Oxford University, Georgetown University, and the Bibliothèque Nationale Française. Saf earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is a Fulbright alumnus and active member of the Rotary International. He is fluent in English, Arabic, French, Moroccan and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Italian. An avid traveler, published photographer, and a semi-pro DJ, Saf lives in Washington DC.
